The Barbados Feast will again be hosted by the Radisson Aquatica Resort, nestled in picturesque Carlisle Bay. This is truly one of the most beautiful beaches found anywhere. The clear, turquoise-colored ocean and white sand beaches make the view almost millennial—and the gorgeous sunsets are truly remarkable!
The Radisson is located about 25 minutes from Grantly Adams International Airport and you will find more roundabouts than traffic lights. Note: Driving is on the left side of the road. With tourism as the main industry, Barbados is a peaceful island and the 85 local Brethren help make the site very warm and accommodating—even charming!
There are many activities—especially along the lovely beaches. Paddle boarding, swimming, scuba diving, waterskiing, fishing and sailing are popular. A favorite is snorkeling over sunken ships near the Radisson; surfing is available on the opposite side of the island where the surf is rougher.
Many have commented that the Feast in Barbados is quite relaxing. Family Day on the beach, the Family Dance and Bible Bowl are some of the highlights along with visiting the many sites and local attractions. There is a large number of restaurants serving cuisine of all types. Many varieties of clean, fresh fish are caught daily.
Average daytime temperatures run in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s F (27-30 degrees C); nighttime temps are about 5 degrees cooler. The sun rises at about 6:00 a.m. and sets at about 6:00 p.m. year-round.
